Step One - Plan Your
Backyard
Existing Home: Before you begin shopping for your pool installer, think
about the entire yard and the type of pool that you want to build. While most
often the swimming pool becomes the center of attention, it’s important to
think about the picnic areas, the barbecue, the pool house and landscaping you
may want to add.
New Home Construction: There are many benefits to building
your pool or spa during the construction of your new home. You will avoid the inconvenience and noise of
construction re-occurring in your
backyard after you have just moved in. During the home construction process,
there is easier access to the backyard, which will eliminate the cost of repairs
to landscaping, and there is no need to remove and replace fences or walls.
Also, you will be better able to integrate the pool design and all the other
backyard features with your home design. Best of all, you can add the pool to
the first mortgage and lower your finance costs.
Step Two – Envision Your
Pool or Spa
While you’re planning, consider the type of pool you want to build. Is it to
be a play pool, one with a constant depth or one with varying depths, but with
enough area for you and your family to enjoy pool games such as volleyball or
basketball? There are other things to contemplate as well when deciding on the
shape and depth of your new pool -- will it be used for exercising, diving, or
just for entertaining friends and family around a beautiful landscape element?
Step Three – Design Your Backyard Dream
By
contacting our office, we can schedule a representative to visit your home, at your convenience, for a free,
no-obligation consultation. By viewing your property and discussing with you
your ideas, our consultant can help custom-design your dream pool.
We carefully plan and install your pool based on many conditions, including the
region of the country, weather conditions, local laws and municipal building
codes - but most importantly with your backyard dream in mind. Your design
consultant will discuss with you sizes, shapes and features, as well as
landscaping options to complete your backyard environment. They can review with
you any special considerations that may be required based on your property
conditions. Once you've selected a pool design, they can suggest deck options,
raised or connected spas, locations for steps and swimouts, handrails or diving
boards; as well as placement of your equipment.
Pricing is determined on the size and features, not on the style you want; and
there are numerous options you can incorporate into your backyard project.
- Ask about adding a raised or
connected spa to
your pool
- Illuminate your pool and backyard landscaping with
colored lighting
- Ask about other products such
as pool cleaners, covers, automatic control systems and more
